Bookings:
We’d love to hear from you if you’d like to stay at the cottage, which is available for rent on a limited basis June-September. Find us on AirBnB or contact us to book directly.
Booking directly:
To hold a booking, we require signed agreement and a non-refundable booking deposit equal to 50% of the lease term value. Bookings are not confirmed until the agreement is signed by all the primary tenant and the owners, and the booking deposit is received.
We require the booking agreement to be signed within 48 hours. In the same calendar year as the lease term date*, the non-refundable booking deposit is due within 5 business days of signing the booking agreement, paid by check or credit card.
The full balance, including all fees, taxes, and security deposit, is due 30 days prior to arrival.
Failure to pay the booking deposit and/or balance will result in a loss of the booking.
Payments can be made by check, direct deposit, or credit card. Credit card payments come with an administrative processing fee of 3.3%. For mailed check payments, we suggest delivery via UPS or FedEx.
Excluding the non-refundable deposit, any monies paid will be refunded if the cancellation is made 30 days or more of the confirmed arrival date. Cancellations for any reason within fewer than 14 days will result in a total loss of all monies paid.
We recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes coverage for trip cancellation due to illness, weather, and ferry issues.
Evidence of damage to the home, smoking, pets, parties, fire, etc. will result in a loss of some or all of the security deposit. Additional fees may apply.
*Booking for the next calendar year:
If you’re interested in booking for the next calendar year, we will require a signed booking agreement, and no payment until January 1. As of January 1 of the lease term year, the non-refundable booking deposit is due, with payment terms the same as above.
